ARGH - Ive just had my fourth. A lovely little boy who will join Katie, Liam and Nina. We struggling to find a boy's name that goes with these other names but thinking maybe

Jamie

or

Callum

or perhaps

Samuel

Help us decide!!

Yes, Owen is perfect!

MeganJ93 · 02/12/2018 14:44

I love Samuel.

ruthietoothie · 02/12/2018 15:04

@redskyandrainbows67 do you really think so? I'm thinking it might work well!! Eek x

Shame about Grayson; lovely name!

I agree that Rory or Owen would work well with your existing names.

starkid · 02/12/2018 15:50

I really like Owen. If not James with the nn Jamie :)

starkid · 02/12/2018 15:50

Or Samuel if it's not off the table yet

Sungura · 02/12/2018 16:00

Owen is superior to the others, although Callum is a favorite name of mine. Owen Bell. Really nice.

ruthietoothie · 02/12/2018 17:57

Yeah - I'm starting to think we might be onto something with Owen - especially as we spent our honeymoon in Wales, so there is a tiny welsh link there :-)

Redskyandrainbows67 · 02/12/2018 19:24

You can spell Eoin that way too

pilates · 02/12/2018 19:27

Samuel

RavenWings · 02/12/2018 19:49

Owen is lovely. Eoin or Eoghan are nicer imo, but if you want the Welsh link they aren't the way to go!

finallychangedmyusername · 02/12/2018 19:51

Owen is perfect!

Huffabook · 02/12/2018 20:16

I like Jamie.

Or..... Toby, Adam or Oliver

Huffabook · 02/12/2018 20:17

I also think Owen goes great too 👍

ruthietoothie · 03/12/2018 16:02

Glad there's quite a bit of love for Owen - think we just got to try the names out now and try and figure out which he suits. Still feeling very indecisive about it all!!

My little boy is Callum so I'm biased, but I still love it! It's not remotely chavvy where I am. For me it has just the right balance of being common enough that people don't get it wrong, but we actually don't know any other Callums. I also think Owen is lovely with your other names. Congratulations.

ruthietoothie · 06/12/2018 19:13

Thanks to everyone for all their thoughts and advice.

Unbelievably, we still don't have a name. He's now 12 days old and just keep going backwards and forwards between:

Jamie
Callum
and
Owen

I've also started to think about Cameron (Cammy for short) and Joseph (known as Joe) and figure these two might also go with Katie, Liam and Nina... and with our surname (Bell)

But so stuck now. Not sure what'll push us to finally make up our minds!!

Love Joe and Jamie.

Elfinablender · 06/12/2018 19:20

I love Callum. I'm not fond of Jamie. Joe Bell might run off the tongue like one name.

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 06/12/2018 19:21

I like Samuel best, but I think Callum goes best with the others. Jamie is too similar to Katie.

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 06/12/2018 19:22

Oops, sorry!
Callum and Owen go equally well, I think. Owen's a bit more unusual, if that matters to you.

AndItStillSaidFourOfTwo · 06/12/2018 19:23

Joseph/Joe works too, and, purely subjectively, Joseph is my favourite of the names you're considering. I don't think Cameron 'goes' at all.

mishgs · 06/12/2018 19:31

Another vote for Joseph! Love it & wish I'd have chosen it.,,,

Huffabook · 13/12/2018 14:22

Joe is fab 👍

ruthietoothie · 13/12/2018 20:30

Thanks everyone!

We still haven't settled on a name (crazy, right).

I do like Callum, but worry it a bit too like Liam as a couple of you mentioned.

We were almost set on Owen, but for some reason I'm nervous about committing to it!

Out of nowhere I started thinking of Alfie (alfred) as well ,but that maybe a bit like Katie and of course V popular atm.

Do like Rory too but worry about that becoming v popular so maybe just need to go with gut and go for Owen.

Going to start to run out of time, as he's three weeks old on Sunday!
