All are lovely names lucieloos. My personal preference in order would be:

Rhodri, Tomos, Harri.

SilverySurfer · 27/11/2018 18:01

OK. I thought my suggestion would avoid comments re spelling but feel free to ignore. I assumed you were Welsh because of Rhodri but obviously others did not.

Rhodri; lovely name.

finallychangedmyusername · 27/11/2018 19:11

I adore Rhodri but all are great names.

Sidandbump · 27/11/2018 19:23

Rhodri- great name! Nothing wrong with the others but this wins hands down to me.

DerelictWreck · 27/11/2018 19:29

How do you pronounce Rhodri? Is it like the Scottish name where it's like ruuuuri?

lucieloos · 27/11/2018 19:57

Rhodri is pronounced rhod-REE

Rhodri is a wonderful name. Absolutely love it. I like Tomos very much too but I'm not a fan of Harri.

Peachbubble · 27/11/2018 20:20

Rhodri, with Harri second. Not a fan of Tomos, sorry.

Cbeebiesrehab · 27/11/2018 20:26

I like Rhodri but not Rhod/Rod. Love Tomos. Harri is unfortunately a bit popular now and would get ‘Harry’ a lot

DerfelCadarn · 27/11/2018 20:34

Rhodri (mostly because I fancy the pants off Rhod Gilbert)

My mums dog is called Harri...

MikeUniformMike · 27/11/2018 20:59

Harri is a Welsh name that was anglicised to Harry.
Tomos is fine although I prefer Thomas.
I'm not mad keen on Rhodri but it's not my baby.
All are perfectly acceptable Welsh names.

Angharad07 · 27/11/2018 21:18

There was a Rhodri in the year below me at school- I think it’s a lovely name. I haven’t heard a Rhodri since.

Llongyfarchiadau a phob lŵc, op x

DramaAlpaca · 27/11/2018 21:22

You didn't need to justify the spellings OP.

There's such a lot of ignorance about Welsh names on here, same as there is with Irish ones.

My favourite is Rhodri. I've only ever met one, and I really like it.

Shadow1234 · 27/11/2018 21:36

Rhodri gets my vote!

babydreamer1 · 27/11/2018 21:48

Love Rhodri. Is Harri pronounced differently to Harry?

lucieloos · 27/11/2018 21:55

No they are pronounced the same

SnowyPaws5 · 27/11/2018 22:36

Rhodri 100%. Really nice and underused.

Harri and Tomas and their more common variants are everywhere.

LEMtheoriginal · 27/11/2018 22:42

Tomos is my favourite. If in England harri will be mis read as shortened harriet. But who cares really? Rhodri i feel woud be shortened to Rod but agsin no biggie.

DameSquashalot · 27/11/2018 22:51

I've loved the name Rhodri since I first heard it.

GoJohnnyGoGoGoGo · 27/11/2018 22:51

I have a Tomos and he's the only one in his rather large year group, I feared he'd be one of many. We almost called DS2 Harri but I worried it might be too popular so we called him Gruffydd and there's now another Gruffydd and a Griff in his class! So it shows you can never tell.
Go with you're instinct.
IMO, 1st Tomos, 2nd Rhodri, 3rd Harri

dottyaboutstripes · 27/11/2018 23:16

Rhodri for me! I know several boys called Tomos or Harri but no little Rhodris. I kind of wish I'd used it but that ship has sailed!

TheGhostOfYou · 27/11/2018 23:17

Not a fan of Rhodri, so I'd go for Tomos or Harri. I know 2 Rhodri and 1 Tomos! I also know of a Rhydian, lovely name.

Picknickers · 27/11/2018 23:55

Rhodri is wonderful. I cannot believe in this so-called multicultural society people don't recognise Welsh names!

AornisHades · 27/11/2018 23:59

I would have used Rhodri but didn't work with surname so that's my choice. Tomos is growing on me so that's second choice.
