Help, DH and I are expecting and cannot agree on a boy name AT ALL.

He likes names like:
Simon
Robert
Gregory
Steven
Peter
I think these are very 1970s names but he thinks they are classic?

On the other hand I like names like
Alfred (Fred)
Oliver
Albert
Rupert
Henry/Harry
Frank(ie?)/Franklin
Percy
Theodore
Wilfred (Fred...again!)
He says these are old man names...even when I told him some of them are in the top 10 now!! Confused

Do what do people think would any of these work?

Peter is nice but other than that, those names definitely belong in the seventies.

The thing with names is they come and go in fashion like the wind. His seventies names will no doubt be trendy in a couple of decades time much like your ‘old man’ names are now.
