Due date today...we have 3 girls names that we like & we've decided we're going to wait until she arrives to name her.

What do you like?
Grace
Orla
Sophie

Do you like Cora?

LoveInTokyo · 31/07/2018 16:05

I think Grace sounds best with Eva.

Belindabauer · 31/07/2018 16:06

Orla.

YerAuntFanny · 31/07/2018 16:07

I like Orla but wouldn't pair it with Eva as it would get confusing when you're shouting at on them.

Sophie is nice, I don't like Grace.

Tinks15 · 31/07/2018 16:50

No don't really like Cora...reminds me of the woman in Eastenders!

Orla

Sophie & Grace both nice names but both incredibly popular

DramaAlpaca · 31/07/2018 17:26

Sophie is my favourite.

I like Orla too, but it's nicest when pronounced with an Irish accent. I agree with others it doesn't pair well with Eva.

I'm not keen on Grace, but it goes with Eva.

inlectorecumbit · 31/07/2018 17:27

Not Orla... l have seen it spelt Oral too many times

TatianaLarina · 31/07/2018 17:42

Eva and Orla sound very good together.

Don’t like Cora but like Cara.

BlondeAmbition44 · 31/07/2018 17:57

I LOVE Grace. I want it for my daughter due in October... still trying to sway DP though ;)

YerAuntFanny · 31/07/2018 18:35

Cara is much nicer than Cora (although I may be biased ;) ), the latter sounds really harsh to my ears but I can't quite place why.

Mine is 5 and I've only ever met 2 others who are in their 20's so it's definitely not overly used either.

moredoll · 01/08/2018 05:51

Grace. Don't like Orla at all, sorry.

Lucylookingforhelp · 07/08/2018 17:39

100% Orla. Grace has suddenly become a middle name and with all the Sophias Sophie has become quite dull
