We're can't choose out of these names for our baby girl. Any suggestions?

I like Cleo best, but also prefer Clio spelling.

GetAwayFromHer · 30/07/2018 16:53

Marv1n

Wot, like the car?? Grin

Marv1nGay3 · 30/07/2018 17:00

No like the Greek muse of history.

GetAwayFromHer · 30/07/2018 17:06

hahahaha. Don't I feel an idiot? However, I still think 'car'

Mitzgerald · 31/07/2018 08:03

Nina!

KiplingAngelCake · 31/07/2018 10:51

Greta is lovely.
Have you considered Joanie?

MikeUniformMike · 31/07/2018 11:23

Nina - yes but not loved on MN
Greta - yes
Nola - No
Cleo - yes
Janie - yes. Jane on BC
Joni - yes. Joan or Joanna on BC.

I like Jeannie too.

capercaillie · 31/07/2018 11:25

Nina or cleo. Really don’t like the rest. Josie or Joan similar to some of those

NordicNobody · 31/07/2018 23:01

My favourites, in order, are:

Joni (after Mitchell)
Greta (after no one, it's just pretty)
Nina (after Simone)

It's close though, I like all 3 a lot

Smoliver · 31/07/2018 23:07

Cleo and Nina are my favs from your list. I also quite like Greta - I think it'd be really cute on a little girl Smile

drigon · 31/07/2018 23:14

The only one I like out of those is Joni.

Kittykatmacbill · 31/07/2018 23:34

Greta is lovely 100% go for it.

Nina isn’t bad.

But meh for the rest.

Joeybee · 31/07/2018 23:53

Nina - Too cutesy for me.
Greta - Ugly
Nola - LOVE this name, it's totally underused, I can't understand why it's not more popular. It's in a similar vein to Nova, which is another name I love.
Cleo - Nah...just sounds like a perfume brand.
Janie - As a nickname for Jane, but not on it's own.
Joni - I like this name, but I associate it too strongly with Joni Mitchell....if that wouldn't bother you though then I think this name is totally useable.

ZebraKid71 · 01/08/2018 16:08

I really like Cleo and Great. Both brilliant names.

Not a fan of Nola at all. It's very commonly used slang for New Orleans. Don't use if there is a chance your lo will be living over there.

Don't really have an opinion on nina.

Janie and joni are ok.

BlackberryandNettle · 04/08/2018 23:20

I'm really not keen on Nola, others are all nice. Like Josephine the best out of the middle names.

Lucylookingforhelp · 07/08/2018 21:18

Outnumbered here but not a fan of cleo. Really love Nina though

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/08/2018 01:33

Janie

GreenTulips · 08/08/2018 01:37

Love Greta

Heard a lovely name Nelsa the other day - might be an add to the list

Juancornetto · 08/08/2018 01:54

Love Greta, I wanted it for DD but was vetoed by DH Angry

miamiibiza · 08/08/2018 02:27

Cleo

StrawberriesAndCream123 · 08/08/2018 09:10

Like them all except for Greta.

If I chose one it would be Joni.

How about Jolie?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 08/08/2018 09:41

Cleo or Greta.

SummerLoving1 · 14/08/2018 23:02

How about Jayna?

FogCutter · 14/08/2018 23:17

What a great list of names, I love them all apart from Greta.

If I had to choose one it would be Cleo or Nina.
