Which one do you like best?

Thank you Flowers

mrsm43s · 08/06/2018 19:20

Juliet, but I also like Romily.

The Juliet I know was nicknamed Yeti!

DowntheTown · 08/06/2018 19:27

Juliet closely followed by Casia.
(love Romilly - sadly also vetoed for our dd).

LilQueenie · 08/06/2018 19:28

juliet

BabloHoney · 08/06/2018 19:29

Cassia is gorgeous

Marmaladdin · 08/06/2018 19:30

Ferne

BertrandRussell · 08/06/2018 19:39

Juliet, so long as you pronounce it JU-liet, not Juli-ET.

Fern without the E.

eloisesparkle · 08/06/2018 19:44

Juliet

MrsHathaway · 08/06/2018 19:45

Juliet by a country mile.

MikeUniformMike · 08/06/2018 19:46

Julie-ETTE is yuk. JULiet is ok.

greendale17 · 08/06/2018 19:47

Juliet

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 08/06/2018 19:53

Love Romilly and Rowena and Robyn (they were on my list) Annoying DH veto ‘ing my ideas.
Ferne for me

Undercoverbanana · 08/06/2018 19:57

Juliet.

HeyDolly · 08/06/2018 20:39

Juliet, so long as you pronounce it JU-liet, not Juli-ET.

Maybe it’s my accent but I don’t find there to be that much of a distinction between Ju-liet and Juli-et. I’m not sure how I pronounce it Grin

Cassia, with Juliet a close second.

MrsHathaway · 08/06/2018 21:17

Same sounds, different stress patterns. Capitals to indicate strongest stress.

APPle juice
non-denomiNAtional
deTERRent
peter PAN

JUliet with the same pattern as APPle juice is preferred by pps over juliET like peter PAN.

robotcartrainhat · 08/06/2018 21:18

I like Juliet the best and then Cassia

BertrandRussell · 08/06/2018 21:21

The pronounciation thing- what I think I mean is the difference between Julie-ETTE -to sort of rhyme with baguette and JU-le-ut -to rhyme with nothing I can think of......

Jj2431 · 08/06/2018 23:17

Juliet but I also like Ferne

Cosmoa · 09/06/2018 00:04

My midwife was called Romily! I almost used it for a second middle name but change my mind in the end as we already had a middle name for her and didn't want make filling in forms more of a faff for her. Gorgeous name though Smile

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/06/2018 00:05

Romily is the best Sad

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/06/2018 00:06

If I could spell it!

Sophronia · 09/06/2018 00:07

Cassia

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/06/2018 00:09

Juliet.
