Daniel or something else?

I don't know what the sex of this baby is but am really struggling to come up with boys names. I already have one DS and used the only name I'm really keen on for him.

I've been mulling Daniel over a lot. I like Dan and Danny as nicknames. It seems good for a kid and an adult. But is it....boring? I'm worried it's a bit Ian / Chris / Rob if you know what I mean .

Open to other suggestions! I also like (but am not convinced by):
Freddie
Max
Ned
Arthur (but can't use)
Benjamin (can't use)

This is how I feel about it @isadora2007. I like the name but it doesn't blow me away. Can't find one that does though so it will be 'fine'.

I think its a lovely name, but its pretty common which could be why you think its boring.

Other ideas of similar names that might be less 'boring' imo....
