Hi! I’m looking for a name that’s related with the ocean or water. I’ve been getting some recommendations, but I still can’t seem to find one that sounds really right to me.
I don’t want the name to be too out there that it’d be awkward to say the name out loud in a Starbucks shop (or for the worker not to have the faintest idea how to spell it). I also don’t want raised eyebrows whenever the name is introduced :(
Here are all of the names that were recommended! Some of them I don’t really like, and some of them are just ok to me. If you think any of these names sounds ok, please let me know!

Coral Cordelia Delphine Madeline Marina Marissa Meredith Nerissa Oceana Tallulah Thalassa

Apart from these, if you guys know any other ocean/water names that you think was really nice, please let me know! I really need the help. Thank you!

Lorelei - means feminine water spirit like a mermaid or siren. I think it's a beautiful sounding name.

How about names related to seas / oceans / islands/ beaches? Helena, Skye, Fenella, Iona - love Fenella, it’s a little bay on the Isle of Man.

Or something meaning water or similar in a foreign language? Marilla, Maya, Mira

Or biblical references? Eden, Jordana

Marisol. Meaning ‘sea and sun’. I love this name; it makes me think of summer holidays.

I have a French friend who regularly goes to a fancy spa over there called Pornic.

I wouldn't recommend it as a name though GrinGrinGrin

I just looked Cordelia up, I had no idea what it meant and it didn’t scream ‘ocean’ to me.
