Oooh Anneka sounds right!

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 19:55

Annika/Anneka it is!

The name is Swedish and means “little Anna”. Anna means “grace”.
Challenge Anneka was a TV programme in the ‘90s.
The fraction is a reference to Seven of Nine from Star Trek:Voyager whose birth name was Annika Hansen.

Well done, trueblueari, over to you Smile

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 20:39

I didn't get the Star Trek reference, I just thought you meant it could be shortened!

Good clues FintyTin Smile

You'll find this pretty faced woman in France, or maybe in Virginia, but you can be sure that she'll be in a patisserie wearing the finest lace.

Bexter801 · 23/04/2018 20:46

Vivienne?

LadyGAgain · 23/04/2018 20:47

Chantelle or Tilly?

Bexter801 · 23/04/2018 20:48

Or Vivian?

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 20:48

Oh LadyG you're so close! So so close.

LadyGAgain · 23/04/2018 20:48

Chantilly?!

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 20:49

*LadyGAgain must be right. I was thinking Chantilly, but I don't think it's actually a name Grin.

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 20:50

Yes!! My daughter's name - I couldn't resist.

Pretty faced because of the song: "Chantilly lace with a pretty face"
France and Virginia both have towns called Chantilly
Patisserie - Chantilly cream
Lace - Chantilly Lace is both a song and a type of lace.

Over to you!

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 20:50

Sorry, cross posted there! My phone doesn't update quickly enough!

LadyGAgain · 23/04/2018 20:51

Oooh beautiful name! Ok. Let me think!

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 20:52

Sorry again! Never heard it as a name, trueblueari.

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 20:56

No need to apologise! I hesitated before posting as I thought it might be too unusual. So I should be the one saying sorry! I'll stick to the baby name book from now on Grin

LadyGAgain · 23/04/2018 20:57

Ok here goes!

Careful he’s a spy. He has something in common with fingers, a band, Guy Fawkes & E. (He could also be a she).

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 21:33

James?

LadyGAgain · 23/04/2018 21:38

Not James

Bexter801 · 23/04/2018 23:16

Christopher?

LadyGAgain · 24/04/2018 06:48

Sorry not Christoper.

Bexter801 · 24/04/2018 12:26

Another clue?

If Jane Seymour needed a doctor.

FintyTin · 24/04/2018 18:29

Quinn?

LadyGAgain · 24/04/2018 19:10

Yes! Peter Quinn the spy from Homeland and the other links are all the number 5. Wanted to call our son this. We had a daughter and didn't think it was unisex at the time so she's called something else!
Over to you Finty!

FintyTin · 25/04/2018 10:23

Thank you...and apologies for disappearing. Needed oro-podiatric separation surgery Blush!

A nice, easy one:

Your mum’s sister heads out with her military chums.
