@FintyTin you're very very close!

trueblueari · 22/04/2018 19:50

Rayna/Reyna

LadyGAgain · 22/04/2018 19:53

Yes! Well done!
Ok so Uncle Bulgaria was the head of the wombles from Wimbledon Common. Rayna means Queen in Bulgarian.
Ray - narrow beam
Rayna Jaymes was the lead character in Nashville and of course Ray Charles Hit the Road, Jack.
Smile

Over to you!

FintyTin · 22/04/2018 20:20

Well done trueblueari, that was a tough one!

LadyGAgain · 22/04/2018 20:25

so sorry! @trueblueari the victory was yours. BlushBlush

trueblueari · 22/04/2018 20:38

This sweet woman has swapped one job for another kind of labour since biblical times.

FintyTin · 22/04/2018 20:46

Eve?

trueblueari · 22/04/2018 20:49

Not Eve, sorry!

LadyGAgain · 22/04/2018 21:05

Teresa

trueblueari · 22/04/2018 21:19

Not Teresa/Theresa, but in one sense you're getting closer.
This name is a bit more "out there" than that - not like, out in the rainforest, although that could make sense too, I just mean I may have dug a little too deep to find this unusual name. (Yes, there was at least one other clue in there!)

FintyTin · 22/04/2018 22:11

I think I may be clutching at straws, but...Salome?

LadyGAgain · 22/04/2018 22:13

Priscilla?

trueblueari · 22/04/2018 22:17

Not Salome or Priscilla - maybe it's because I described her as sweet, despite being quite at home on the prairie, she's technically more of a spicy character.

Bexter801 · 22/04/2018 23:22

Carrie?

trueblueari · 22/04/2018 23:35

No, I can't think of another clue without making it too obvious, but maybe I should have spelled Job and Labour with capital letters in the first clue...

Bexter801 · 23/04/2018 00:19

Jamelia?

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 00:26

Not Jamelia.

Being in Scotland puts you at a slight advantage with this one as you'll be more familiar with the most well known person with this name than our friends in England (unless they happen to be interested in the jungle that is the world of politics!)

Bexter801 · 23/04/2018 00:40

Annabelle?

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 09:38

Oooh...Keziah?

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 09:47

Yes @FintyTin, well done!

"This sweet woman has swapped one Job for another kind of Labour since biblical times" - the name Kezia is listed as meaning "cassia, a sweet smelling spice", Keziah was one of Job's daughters in the Bible but now, Kezia Dugdale is a Labour politician.
The part about being "out there" and in the rainforest referred to Kezia Dugdale being in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and I also tried to reference her last name by saying I may have "dug" too deep for this one.
Being at home on the prairie - Kezia was a character in Little House on the Prairie
Spicy - going back to the "sweet smelling spice" meaning

Over to you Finty!

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 10:51

Thank you. It was the capitalisation that did it! Before that I was trying to think of midwives 😃.
I need a think...

FintyTin · 23/04/2018 13:44

This graceful little Swedish lady can have several spellings.
She can be rather challenging, or reduced to a fraction of her old self.

LadyGAgain · 23/04/2018 15:57

Frida?

Bexter801 · 23/04/2018 18:39

Millie/Milly?

trueblueari · 23/04/2018 18:40

Anneka?
