Short for Mary traditionally, not originally a stand alone name. not a problem in itself but for context.

Lovely name. Fits any stage of life. Reminds me of a giri went to school with who was always smiling and optimistic.

I used to think it was a bit frilly but now I know 2 (an adult and an 8 year old) I like it! It suits both of them, sounds nice
