Hello!

I'm a writer after suggestions for a name for a character, rather than a real life baby (not quite at that stage of life yet!) so I hope it's still OK to post for advice here!

I'm after a pretty girls name with three syllables and a possible NN which you wouldn't necessarily associate with the full name. It can't be immediately clear that the two characters are the same person - so nothing obvious like Susannah and Suzie.

In return, all I can promise is the satisfaction of knowing it was your idea, if ever you read the finished book!

There is a great kids book where the main protangonist is called Tyke all the way through and on the last page you find out it is a girl called Theresa, whereas the 'assumption' through the book is that it is a boy.

Going down the Russian route, the nn for Natasha is Natalia

Or a nn which is due to her character/physical not her name?
So, Bubbles, Ginger, Titch, Bean (beanpole),

Or linked to her surname?
