You've listed Wilfred. Have you thought about Alfred (with potential shortening to Alfie). It's obviously similar to Wilfred but I prefer it much more Wilfred. Out of the names on your list the only ones I really like are Oscar and Josiah (which would probably end up being shortened to Joe)

Actually I really like Lewis I think that's the one I like the most

If anyone’s interested; Kit / Christopher is in the lead, closely followed by Oscar.

Fergus seems to be the least popular.

Re pp who suggested Alfred; I like it, but I’m not mad about Alfie or Freddie, so haven’t got it on my list.
