Indigo Blue
Violet Skye
Sunny Rae
Sienna Rose
Posy Flo

(In that order)

I think Sonny Ray and Arthur Bear were the boys names....

I have 2 DS's with much less colourful names still holding a torch for Indigo

Ahhh Liitlepond, I have a Bonnie! And she is lovely 😊.

I was going to have Shelby for a girl and Cobalt for a boy. I was very impressed by the repeats of Saphire and Steel so was going for a futuristic vibe.

Ditsy1980 · 22/10/2017 17:34

Bronwen after a character on Neighbours or Home & Away.

Twin girls - Autumn and Summer. Still quite like them and also now like Winter.

DD is none of the above but she is a name I have seen on various MN threads as chavvy. Never mind.

MummyItsallaboutyou · 22/10/2017 17:35

I was going to have 6 girls.

Harriet
Jessica
Georgina
Evangeline
Beatrice
Tessa

Only Georgina didn't feature on my list when I had DD.

BroomstickOfLove · 22/10/2017 17:40

Winona Diana (before the famous actress - I found it in a baby name book and means first-born daughter)

Robin or Marian (because I was in love with Robin of Sherwood).

I thought Chelsea was the height of beauty name-wise at the age of about 8.

Then when I was a teenager, it was Summer and Atlanta. Still think they’re pretty, but went for more mainstream —boring but don’t care— name for DD!

Daniel for a boy. Would still have had that, had dh not vetoed it on the basis he was bullied by a Daniel at school.

DeathByMascara · 22/10/2017 17:41

What happened to my strikeout??

Agustarella · 22/10/2017 17:45

Sophia. It was really unusual in the 80s! Unfortunately a lot of other little girls my age and younger seem to have had the same idea.

Callamia · 22/10/2017 17:52

Charlotte Liberty
Adam Dejan
Dominic and/or Dominique

I was going to marry a boy I went to school with and live an entirely average (aspirational to me) middle-class life in Cheshire.

I have two boys. Neither are called any of the above. Although, those boys names aren't bad.

roseblossom75 · 22/10/2017 17:59

When I was a teenager it was always going to be Amelia which at the time was almost unheard of! (I had it from the Amelia Jane books).

Ledehe · 22/10/2017 18:03

Scarlett Amber Jade Gregory then a few years older Monica Xanthe Yolanda

whiteroseredrose · 22/10/2017 18:08

George, David, Andrew and Patrick. Or maybe Georgina or Patricia for a girl.

StarfruitMoon · 22/10/2017 18:11

Wednesday after the girl from The Addams Family!

Dixiestampsagain · 22/10/2017 18:11

Michael, Gareth and Natalie- I didn’t use any of them!

LastNightMyWifeHooveredMyHead · 22/10/2017 18:13

Tancred. I had a Crusader obsession Blush

Coralie and Blanche for the girls

LastNightMyWifeHooveredMyHead · 22/10/2017 18:14

Oh, and Augusta. Influenced by the Pullein-Thompson sisters, I fear!

TheBadgersMadeMeDoIt · 22/10/2017 18:14

Laurel and Rowan.

By the time I became a mum I had been doing battle with both types of tree in my garden for several years and had very much gone off the idea.

Monkeypuzzle32 · 22/10/2017 18:14

Same as countroscoe Anastasia , I actually had a doll called that when I was very young, Alessandro for a boy!

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 22/10/2017 18:18

I wanted B & G twins called Kurt and Courtney Grin

Then later I favoured Scarlet and Raven.

BubblesPip · 22/10/2017 18:18

Tamsin and Ava. Had one Dd and she’s an Emily.

Mrsknackered · 22/10/2017 18:19

I was really jealous of a girl in my class who's middle name was Anastasia. Florence Anastasia. Still wouldn't mind being called that!

For a girl, something very frilly and made-up beginning with A. Amaralinda or Aletheria or something.

Lestat for a boy. Grin

AveEldon · 22/10/2017 19:35

Chardonnay

ifigoup · 22/10/2017 19:38

Girls:
Matty
Charlotte
India
Daisy

Boys:
James
Samuel

(I was a hippyish child, but evidently only when it came to girls.)

Glowerglass · 22/10/2017 19:38

Georgia
Isaac
Pamela

AdaColeman · 22/10/2017 19:43

Sebastian and Dickon (Oh I know! What was I thinking!) were my favourites, didn't use them at all, though I still like Sebastian.
