Thoughts on the name Mila for a baby girl?

I love it but would pronounce it My-luh as PP said like Milo but an 'uh' sound at the end. I know one child named this and pronounced this way. I also know a Myla pronounced the same way but that always reminds me of the underwear brand...

The pronunciation mee-luh is cute but I'd never guess Mila would be pronounced like that.

I didn't like it until you explained the pronunciation, but actually, now, i think it's quite pretty.

(Strangely, I do like Milo, but as i am Australian, it would be like calling a child Ovaltine.)

@SSM112 I love Mila it's such a pretty name. That's one of the names on my list. I love the fact that it's not that popular I don't know many Mila's. I quiet like Mia as well. x
