In our NCT group last year out of 6 babies, 2 Olivia's and one Oliver seems very popular at mo!

Liadain · 17/09/2017 18:15

A lot! One adult and many kids...I work in a school. Every other class seems to have one. I also worked in the school summer camp (we had kids from all over, not just ours), and met four new little Olivias.

clary · 17/09/2017 18:37

Many, aged from about 5 to young adult.

I teach secondary - there are two in my form and I teach another four, plus there are at least half a dozen more in the school.

It's a very nice name which is why it is popular. Probably almost as popular as Ollie/Oliver for a boy.

GU24Mum · 17/09/2017 18:42

Quite a few - a mix of ages from small to mid 20s.

17caterpillars1mouse · 17/09/2017 18:46

A 28 year old
A 19 year old
Then several more ages between 14 and 3
Then 3 under 3s

mycatloveslego · 17/09/2017 18:48

Two. One adult and a 5 year old.

Bananamama1213 · 17/09/2017 19:44

Just one, she is 3.

Theresomethingaboutdairy · 17/09/2017 20:31

Two. My dd2 who is 7 and an 11 year old in dd1s ballet class. We call our dd Olive though.

PandaCat · 17/09/2017 20:33

Three, an adult and two toddlers.

thepatchworkcat · 17/09/2017 20:36

Absolutely loads! (Primary teacher). Wouldn't personally use it as I know so many, although I do think it's a lovely name.

CPtart · 17/09/2017 20:41

Three of various ages. Prefer Alicia.

MaroonPencil · 17/09/2017 20:42

One adult and one lovely ten year old.

HairyPotter · 17/09/2017 20:44

All of them! Or maybe it just feels like it. Middle name Rose for a fair few as well.

OliviaOllyLivvy · 17/09/2017 21:26

Hmm, this definitely puts me off Sad thank you!

Secondary teacher - just counted up and I teach 17 this year!

Alisvolatpropiis · 17/09/2017 21:33

Op - at the end of the day, Olivia is a very lovely name. That is why there are so many. I'm sure at present there are a fair few names which aren't quite so popular but are gaining in popularity and will become the "most heard" girls of the future. If you really love Olivia, use it.

nancy75 · 17/09/2017 21:34

Dd is 12, she has 4 Olivia's as friends & no doubt there are more in her year

NannyR · 17/09/2017 21:38

Not that many surprisingly, as its such a popular name. Only one in the whole primary school that the kids go to.

Applesandpears56 · 17/09/2017 21:39

2 and 2 olives - I actually think olive is almost more popular than Olivia nowadays.

It's a gorgeous name - use it and don't be put off. There's a million nicknames you could use with it too

LostwithSawyer · 17/09/2017 21:46

Only 2. Beautiful name

KERALA1 · 17/09/2017 21:48

Most classes have one. Over use has spoiled it for me. Top of list for dd 1 until I realised everyone else thought the same! Very glad we avoided as first baby class I went to there were 3 and the mothers were Hmm on realising..

TwoKidsAndCounting · 17/09/2017 21:50

I live in ireland and I know only 1

Tilapia · 17/09/2017 22:10

One adult and two primary age children. Also one Olive.

ProseccoMamam · 17/09/2017 22:48

16Confused

5 high school kids (one has actually gone to uni this year though)

6 babies/toddlers

3 primary school kids

1 adult

1 old woman

It's a very overused name, and I don't know why because there's nothing really too special about it? It's a nice name but not nice enough to be used so much. Saying that I don't really care for traditional names (I don't make ones up though)

geoff409 · 17/09/2017 22:56

One, my niece. She's a little sweetheart x
