I don't know any, work, or from my children's school. It just isn't a name I've heard IRL, though I don't doubt its popular.

Coey2016 · 31/08/2017 23:09

One in her late twenties

The one I know goes by Floz!

FlorenceFlorence · 01/09/2017 00:37

I always just knew the one, me! I'm mid 30s.

But recently I met another a similar age to me. Didn't like it, used to like having such an unusual name. Various nicknames for various different people in my life - Flo, Flossie, Floss.

TarquinGyrfalcon · 01/09/2017 01:38

Four.
74, 31, 21 and 7

Known as Flo, Flossie, Florence and Florence.

FNAF · 01/09/2017 01:41

0 but my dcs are older. Its lovely.

notangelinajolie · 01/09/2017 02:01

2 lovely ladies. Both known as Flo. Both passed away many years ago. I've not heard of any one named that in any younger age groups.

catsarenice · 01/09/2017 04:17

3 at baby music group- there're only 7 of us in the class! I was quite surprised as I hadn't thought about it being a popular name. Could just be a coincidence I guess. Age range from 8 to 18 months. Two known as Flo and the other Florence.

mowgeli · 01/09/2017 08:36

Quite a few and it's one of the best girls names out there.

I also love Fleur

onthewagonwheel · 01/09/2017 08:43

Two. A 15 year old, goes by Flo, and a 10 year old who uses the full Florence.

stellarfox · 01/09/2017 09:00

One that is 27. Goes by Flo but I like Florrie or Flossie best. Love Fleur also - know one aged 3 and they call her Fleury

PandaCat · 01/09/2017 10:10

None

Oysterbabe · 01/09/2017 11:48

I know 4 under 3. Mostly go by Flo.
It really gained popularity after David Cameron used it for his DD.

kookiecookie3 · 01/09/2017 12:30

1 in my house! 5 yrs old. She gets Flo most of the time. Named after my grandmother who got Florrie. When we first picked it it was quite high up in the name charts 70's now it is much more popular, I think they are predicting it to be in the top 10 this yr!!

purplecorkheart · 01/09/2017 12:38

Two, one female in her 60s and one male early 40s.

Itmustbemyage · 01/09/2017 12:44

joolspoon · 01/09/2017 12:55

emilybrontescorset · 01/09/2017 14:11

2 one is a baby and the other is 10.

UninspiringUserName · 01/09/2017 15:48

Oh I adore the name. So much so, my daughter is Florence. She's nearly 7, and her nickname is Florrie but she prefers to be called Florence. We don't know any others.

Crashbangwhatausername · 01/09/2017 15:52

Loads, several old ladies, about four dogs and 5or6 children all 7 and under.

AberdeenAngusina · 01/09/2017 21:47

One.

RuthW · 01/09/2017 23:38

I know one irl and that's my 20 year old dd. Lots seem to be around now in my internet world. If I was naming her now then she wouldn't be a Florence as it's too popular. Seemed to go popular when David Cameron had a Florence.

I call her Floss, her friends call her Flo.
