Clunky, unfashionable, but feisty female names.

For a goat that family have just acquired.

My DC have been given the proud task of choosing the name.

We want something a bit, well, goaty and down to earth, but it has to be a "real name" (ie a human name).

DC1 wants a Viking name (I think inspired by the fact that Vikings and goats have horns and beards in common ).

Current front runners are Trudie and Helga, but we thought MN might come up with more ideas.

We haven't met the recipient of the name yet, but apparently she is mainly white with some chestnut brown speckles, and is very playful.

Myrtle and Muriel are the names in one of the goats in one of our bedtime stories.

For a billy goat it should be called Peter, because of the film 'the Witch'
