This is too stressful. I don't know what to name her. 3 weeks old.

I don't know why people say girls' names are easier Sad for a boy, we were set on Elliot John.

We like Grace... However, is it just too boringly popular? I don't know any, but I have never been around children.

Quite like Grace Madison, but I know people think Madison is 'chavvy' Confused quite like Grace Madeleine too, but how would you pronounce Madeleine? I say Mad-eh-lyn?

Grace Francesca?

Gabriella is another favourite, but Gabby is gross. I wouldn't use a NN that is in the name or at the end, as I don't believe it comes naturally.

Love Scarlet, but surname starts with an S and I hate alliteration.

Hope Madison

Makinglists · 25/06/2017 21:37

She is beautiful. Love the name grace. Ds2 is 6 and i cant think of any graces in his year. If you love it use it.

FeralBeryl · 25/06/2017 21:50

Oh she is an absolute doll - congratulations Flowers

What about Elodie? Elodie Grace is lovely and you've still got your 'El' sound too.

LorLorr2 · 27/06/2017 03:08

You have nothing to worry about because the names you've come up with originally are all absolutely lovely (I've never thought of Madison as chavvy!)

Atenco · 27/06/2017 03:27

Now that is a beautiful baby and I do not say that lightly, OP. I love the name Grace or the Irish version, Graine.

WomanScorned · 27/06/2017 03:30

Grace is a beautiful name, and it suits her.
However, it is very popular, which may or may not bother you/her.

I like Gracie, as suggested by a pp. Just because it is more unusual.

When I tried to think of something like Elliot, I also got Harriett.

Ive always loved Eloise. Similar to b, but runs the risk of being shortened to Elle/Ellie. Again, not an issue if youre ok wih popular.

Personally, I would name her Elliott Grace.

PS Congratulations. She is perfect. Flowers.

WomanScorned · 27/06/2017 03:33

(I have no idea how that rogue 'b' got in there. I typed 'ELLIOTT!)

MerryMarigold · 27/06/2017 03:38

She's so beautiful. Now I'm broody in the middle of the night! I agree that Grace suits. I also love Frances. Frances Grace? I think it sounds great with Elliott John. Georgina? I think she looks a bit like an Elizabeth too, but only if you like Libby/ Lizzie as a nn.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 27/06/2017 03:48

She's beautiful. Definitely a Grace. Congratulations!

MakeItStopNeville · 27/06/2017 04:15

MakeItStopNeville · 27/06/2017 04:16

Wtf?! That was the weirdest auto correct I've ever done!

PossibiliTea · 27/06/2017 12:07

Grin that's a brilliant autocorrect

OrangeHats · 27/06/2017 12:20

Grace is lovely, I only know one. Congratulations on your gorgeous little girl, she's very cute!

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 27/06/2017 15:27

Perfect name! Flowers

MonkeyLovesRobot · 27/06/2017 15:35

There's a lot of S "sounds" when saying Grace Francesca S (Surname starts with S you said).

I love both names but not so much together.

Grace Coralie
Grace Eden
Grace Ava
Grace Ruby
Grace Olivia
Grace Amelia
Grace Antonia
Grace Aurelie

Mollie85 · 27/06/2017 16:42

Your daughter is lovely.

I think she looks like a Lucy. Lucy Grace? Please let us know what you decide

Mollie85 · 27/06/2017 16:43

Oh sorry didn't rtft. Grace is lovely.

regularbutpanickingabit · 27/06/2017 22:01

Grace Francesca suits her perfectly. Beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Congratulations!

fluentinsarcasm · 28/06/2017 14:03

She is so pretty. Lots of names suit but Gabriella is my favourite.

Florence would also be nice.

And Elizabeth.

Maybe wait another week to see if it becomes obvious she's a Grace etc
