This is too stressful. I don't know what to name her. 3 weeks old.

I don't know why people say girls' names are easier Sad for a boy, we were set on Elliot John.

We like Grace... However, is it just too boringly popular? I don't know any, but I have never been around children.

Quite like Grace Madison, but I know people think Madison is 'chavvy' Confused quite like Grace Madeleine too, but how would you pronounce Madeleine? I say Mad-eh-lyn?

Grace Francesca?

Gabriella is another favourite, but Gabby is gross. I wouldn't use a NN that is in the name or at the end, as I don't believe it comes naturally.

Love Scarlet, but surname starts with an S and I hate alliteration.

All the names you mentioned are lovely you must decide yourself never mind how popular it is xx

OrangeHats · 24/06/2017 18:23

Thank you Smile yes, I am loving Grace right now.

I do like Grace Francesca but I don't know! I suppose I need to just pick one and let it grow on me!

Beautiful baby, and she looks like a Grace. It's fine as a first name. If you like Scarlet how about Charlotte or Violet.

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo · 24/06/2017 18:26

Congratulations Flowers what a little sweetheart

Emmeline is lovely. I have always pronounced it Em-lyn. How do you pronounce it?

Otherwise:

Rosa
Mariah
Meredith
Lucille
Miranda
Eliza

Muumi3 · 24/06/2017 20:12

Call her Grace for the day, and see if it feels OK. Maybe do a few different ones over a few days

mathanxiety · 24/06/2017 21:10

Madeleine Frances?

I like Grace very much, and would use Madeleine as the MN. I pronounce Madeleine Mad-eh-leen, which is a typical Irish pronunciation. Mad-eh-lyn would be perfectly proper though.

MrsLettuce · 24/06/2017 21:18

She looks like Evelyn to me. Evelyn Joy?

WaahImTellingTheDorchester · 24/06/2017 21:22

She's beautiful. She looks like a Gabriella to me

Grace is classic and a great choice too

strawberrypenguin · 24/06/2017 21:48

She's lovely and Grace would suit her. If you love it then use it.
My DS1 has a name that's always too 10 and only has one other in his school year, in the opposite class to him so I wouldn't worry too much about whether it's popular or not

Fortysix · 24/06/2017 21:52

Adorable baby.

Middle names... Grace Alice ... Grace Harriet ... Grace Edith ... Grace Lily

pottered · 24/06/2017 22:35

She's utterly adorable, whatever you call her!

chipsnmayo · 24/06/2017 23:14

My DD is a Grace :) She's 19 now, whilst there were always a couple in her year at secondary, there weren't dozens of them. There were none in Primary School either.

Honestly any name within the top 100 you risk having multiples of in a school year.

I love either Grace Francesca or Grace Gabriella.

pieceofpurplesky · 24/06/2017 23:27

How about Gracie? Or Betsy?
She is beautiful.

Dixiestamp · 25/06/2017 19:40
