Hunter or Jayden or Teddy?

Teddy would be his BC name. There is no point in suggesting a different name goes on the BC.

No 'neither' or 'none' please. If you think that, I'd rather you didn't comment.

Now that's out the way Smile my son is 10 days old. Which name?

Hunter is the best of a bad bunch.

I under my breath judged a mum calling out for a Jayden the other day I'm sorry to say.

And Teddy is awful

Hunter, if that's your list.

DramaAlpaca · 19/06/2017 20:43

Of the three, I'd have to choose Jayden. And I don't care if anyone judges me Grin

MajesticWhine · 19/06/2017 20:46

Why on earth would anyone name a child differently on their birth certificate than in real life (nicknames / middle names excepted)?
On those grounds, Teddy.

KanyeWesticle · 19/06/2017 20:51

Teddy. Then Hunter.

lornathewizzard · 19/06/2017 20:51

I don't know tbh Navy I just eye rolled. As I said I was sorry about it, not trying to be a dick. I've done the same eye roll for a Matilda if that helps

histinyhandsarefrozen · 19/06/2017 20:54

Not hunter, not Jayden, yes teddy!
It's lovely- a name fit for a president.

AntiopeofThemyscira · 19/06/2017 20:55

Teddy - fine as Ted when older. I know two older Teds and the name just suits them.

SpikeGilesSandwich · 19/06/2017 20:55

Teddy is nice, could be Ted when he's older. Not keen on Hunter and I have nothing polite to say about Jayden, sorry.

weasle · 19/06/2017 20:57

Hunter the better of the three. Teddy doesn't age well unless Edward proper name. Jayden overused and has negative stereotype. Hunter quite cool for a teen / adult.

Ohyesiam · 19/06/2017 21:54

@majestic, she means he wouldn't be Edward on the birth certificate.
Hunter

harderandharder2breathe · 19/06/2017 21:57

None are to my taste but Hunter is the best of the three imo

buttercup54321 · 19/06/2017 21:59

Jayden.
Teddy but only if Edward/Edison on BC
Hunter. No its awful.

IrrationalAnthem · 19/06/2017 22:06

I've a Teddy, who aged 10, has just begun to use Ted (which I also love) and is called Tedster by his siblings.

Do it!

Malfoyy · 19/06/2017 22:09

Hunter (though I don't really like what the word means!)
Teddy

Not Jayden!

ScarletSienna · 19/06/2017 22:27

Teddy is asked about almost daily at the moment and I almost always say whichever name it is up against but out of these three I'd choose Teddy.

I don't like the name Jayden.
Hunter is a horrible violent name.
So Teddy by default. Ted is an option for him when he is older too then.

Sophronia · 19/06/2017 23:14

Jayden

joannegrady90 · 19/06/2017 23:16

Hunter

FurcoatnoNicks · 19/06/2017 23:17

I have a Ted who's 22 so I beat the rush !
He loves his name as loves even more that every other baby around here is being called it-

Julybug · 20/06/2017 00:20

Jayden then Teddy

GinIsIn · 20/06/2017 00:36

Hunter. Jayden is awful, and I love Teddy (in fact I have one), but it's too twee a name to not give them the option of something more sensible to use later in life if they wish. (mine is a Theodore)

CheeseOverload · 20/06/2017 00:38

Teddy

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 20/06/2017 00:40

Teddy.

Hunter is not a name. Jayden is... chavvy imo.

Orangebird69 · 20/06/2017 00:40

Teddy is the best of a very bad bunch.
