I've been put off Stephanie since Stephanie Davis started hitting the tabloids in the last few years for her troubled relationships.

It has a very pretty sound. I'd much rather hear of a baby Stephanie than a Lily-May or Poppy.

Outdated and boring. Not a fan at all.

Makes me think of young and jolly Edwardian ladies, but I suppose that's because the only one I've known is Stiffy Byng who appears in a few P.G. Wodehouse stories. Are they not all like that then?

I am a Stephanie, but have always been called Stef - I love it (biased obvs.) but there are so many permutations to the name, both in nicknames and spelling, that it's a great name to choose! :)

I love it! One of my cousins' names, I had it on my list (before we knew DS2 was a boy) with the nickname Stevie. Very cute.
