Oldgranny · 03/06/2017 19:28

Cayden is Shock!!!!

LilaBard · 03/06/2017 19:34

Aidan (with 2 As) is a perfectly normal name here in Ireland and the other 2 are horrible (no offense not my taste etc)

AmysTiara · 03/06/2017 19:35

Aidan is by far the nicest

JenTeale · 03/06/2017 19:48

Aidan is an historic Scottish name. The others are contemporary.

You forgot Jayden.

Emma2803 · 03/06/2017 20:26

Aidan.

finnthepink · 03/06/2017 20:28

Haydn.

FoxesSitOnBoxes · 03/06/2017 20:28

Aidan lovely Northumbrian saint name. Others are.... less nice

rugratowner · 03/06/2017 20:45

cushioncovers · 03/06/2017 20:48

eachtigertires · 03/06/2017 20:56

Caden.

rollonthesummer · 03/06/2017 20:59

Aidan/Aiden/Ayden are all very popular at my school. So popular that I struggle remembering which spelling they all go by.

I don't like any of them though-it's in the Aidan/Ayden/Jayden/Jaiden/Haiden/Hayden box for me. Sorry.

Mummamayhem · 03/06/2017 21:04

Well personally i love Aiden

SandysMam · 03/06/2017 21:10

I like Hayden, in Wales it is actually a very traditional name (although spelt Haydn) but some mumsnet snobs have it down as a new fangled "common" name.
Unless OP is fully aware of this fact and is just looking for some light entertainment on a Saturday night Grin.

weegiemum · 03/06/2017 21:11

Love Aidan.

Whatislife123 · 03/06/2017 21:16

Aiden

BuzzKillington · 03/06/2017 21:19

Aidan is the least bad.

I like Haydn, but sadly it has been lumped together with the awful Caden, Jaden type names.

Joinourclub · 03/06/2017 21:23

Oo lovely names OP, I'm sure you must be finding it really hard to decide. Have you considered Jayden? Or even Wayden? Or you could always hyphenate , Aiden-Cayden?

BikeRunSki · 03/06/2017 21:25

Aidan

Like the early Christian saint

BeepBeepMOVE · 03/06/2017 21:26

Aidan, the others are chavvy.

Sophronia · 03/06/2017 21:27

Caden, although I prefer the Kayden spelling. None of the 3 are really my style though.

Littlegreyauditor · 03/06/2017 21:28

Given the choice I would go with Aidan as, to me, it's a proper name but then again I live in Ireland where it's a solid, no nonsense name like I imagine John or James would be in the UK.

Threads like this make me smile. I read one where posters were having convulsions in horror at "Kevin" being the worst of all names. If you look at where the name is actually from it's completely unremarkable, albeit an English spelling of an Irish word, just like Aidan.

Dumbledoresgirl · 03/06/2017 21:28

The absolute by far and away nicest boy in my son's lovely bunch of friends is a Haydn so I am a bit biased towards that name. It depends who you know, what associations each name has for you. I don't think asking a bunch of strangers is the right way to choose a name.
