Oh no :( I know adult Florians, but maybe not...

Fallen: Oh, cool :) I also really like Erica. Pretty flowers, strong name...

I don't really think Billy or Willy are likely nicknames, are they?
DH is thrilled by the positive feetback for Apolline... ;)

Is Apolline from Les Miserables?

QuietNameChange · 05/05/2017 15:42

Lizzie I don't think so, is it? Btw, I sent you the most commonly used nns of DD.

Magnus and Ada. They're both good names.
Isadora sounds/looks a lot better than Isidora.

Thank you. :) My current favourite is Anthony, tbh. DH has just suggested new names.... Naming babies is complicated!

Yes, Isadora does admittedly look better, I agree. DH and I have agreed, we won't use Isidora as a first name...

If you can't decide, you could boil it down to a couple of choices and see what Clarissa thinks Smile

Clarissa is still a bit too young. But you gave me the idea of putting the names on little blocks and see which one she grabs first...

However, it would make for such a lovely experience. Thank you :)!!

Apolline is lovely but I ruled it out (in U.K.) because feedback was that people would think she was called Pauline. Which is a lot less lovely.

grufallosfriend · 07/05/2017 09:27

Apolline and Pauline sound very different to my ears. I really like Apolline.

Loyly · 07/05/2017 09:28

Jonathan and Ada

QuietNameChange · 07/05/2017 10:17

If we have a son he'll either be Anthony Florian Magnus, Anthony Maguns Florian or William Magnus Florian...

As for the girl's... Idk. Maybe it was a hormonal "wave"? But I can't have a daughter named Isidora. I'm sorry for all the people liking it. But what was I thinking? And I agree with stickle. Adaline sounds like Adrenaline. I feel stupid Blush

Lovely boys names! You can't go wrong.

Please don't feel stupid re. girls' names. Truly, none of them are awful IMO. I'm possibly a bit dyslexic and that was just how I read Adaline at first go...

QuietNameChange · 07/05/2017 10:56

Thanks :)

It will be really nice to see why one DD will pick... We both like the letting her pick a block idea but don't want to leave it too open... Don't whant to end up with Florian Jonathan William (which would be very rhime-y).

Well, maybe not stupid. But I've started from the very beginning again with girl's names. Anyhow, thanks :)!!
