Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi OP, are you willing to say what the first name is ?
It's okay if not.

dnamummy · 01/05/2017 19:25

Were you watching Britains got Talent OP? Just coz judges said "that's nice " when contestant said that was her name, doesn't make them right😉!

DurhamDurham · 01/05/2017 19:27

Nala Elsa Ariel Bambi has a nice ring to it Smile

ScarlettFreestone · 01/05/2017 19:27

The thing is, you aren't naming a sweet little baby girl.

You are naming a teenager, and a student and a professional woman and a mother and grandmother.

They are only little for a tiny period of time. The name you give has to last forever and not embarrass her.

What if she grows up to be a very practical, serious minded woman?

What if she grows up to be a soldier, an accountant, a Vicar or a judge? Will she really want to be called Bambi?

insancerre · 01/05/2017 19:28

I can only hear who killed bambi?

YellowLily17 · 01/05/2017 19:31

First name is Francesca Smile

Yes! I did see it from BGT!

OP posts:
ScarlettFreestone · 01/05/2017 19:34

Francesca is a lovely first name.

Spadequeen · 01/05/2017 19:37

Think about an adult woman with the name bambi. Is it still cute?

PurpleDaisies · 01/05/2017 19:38

It's awful.

WellErrr · 01/05/2017 19:39

How about Pocahontas? Or Maleficent?

dnamummy · 01/05/2017 19:40

Love Francesca - I have a similar first name, with an abbreviated version that I use informally and the full 4 syllables when in power-suit!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/05/2017 19:43

I like it OP, it's very sweet.
Francesca Bambi, go for it, for sure.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/05/2017 19:45

How many people say, the middle name is hardly used, so use whatever you like.

TinfoilHattie · 01/05/2017 19:46

I think its cute.

Yes, because all there is to aspire to for a girl is "cute".

It's bloody awful. Please don't.

It's the sort of name you need to be breathtakingly beautiful and confident to carry off. I'm not sure I'd dare.

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 01/05/2017 19:49

Cute and sweet are bad qualities in names for anyone over about 3.

0nline · 01/05/2017 19:50

If you want something Italian and cute sounding, I have a few female students, young and not so much, who are called Chicca /key-kah/ as a nickname for Francesca.

She could have two classic names, but still be known by something with a fizz about it in informal settings.

Chinnygirl · 01/05/2017 19:55

For a pet sure. For a person absolutely not. It sounds like a porn name for a girl.

villainousbroodmare · 01/05/2017 19:56

Francesca is lovely.

Jooni · 01/05/2017 20:01

Confused No no no and I have quite adventurous taste in middle names usually!
