Please don't call her April or Autumn. Mil was called June as mentioned by a PP, but born in April. She hated being asked if her birthday was in June!

My name is Autumn, I very rarely get asked when my birthday is. When I do, I can't say I hate it and my birthday falls in Winter! From your list, Autumn is my favourite with Violet as a close 2nd.

I absolutely love April, we almost chose it for our LO.

I have a Scarlett but also had Autumn and Violet on our list. April is pretty too. I'd go for Autumn as it's more unusual (sadly didn't sound right with our surname).

I'm called April. I got some stick as a child but not much. Also, I wasn't born in April. I may be biased but I'd choose April.

If mumsnet is representative of real life there are going to be millions of little violets running round!

There's someone in my workplace called April, and it does not occur to me to ask her if she was born in April. I think it would be really odd of me to even ask an adult that!

If her birthday was in another month then I wouldn't give it a second thought at all. April is a standalone name IMO.
