I really like Dulcie but not keen on the Mae addition.....

I wouldn't hyphenate though. Name-mae is everywhere these days, tilly-mae, gracie-mae, or some version.

Dulcie is nice on it's own, with mae as a middle name. You can still call her dulcie mae if you want.

Dulcie on its own is lovely, adding Mae ruins it for me. Especially the quirky spelling that seems to be so fashionable
But Dulcie on its own is a really lovely name!

May is nicer than May IMO. But I'd also lose the hyphen

As with the others, the adding of Mae/May/Mai ruins the name. Otherwise it's nice.

Hate all hyphens but Mae is one of the worst. Dulcie is nice though.

Stop thinking of her as a baby. Think of her as a dumpy teenager not yet grown into her looks. A kick ass criminal barrister. An MP. A mechanic. An elegant old lady.

Dulcimer is nice - I had a great aunt with this name!

Mae is nice on its own but far too naff when tagged on as double barrelled- Lily-Mae, Ellie-May etc
