I'm not keen. All my local selling pages on facebook are advertising Chester Draws and it made me think of that.

Manumission · 06/12/2016 01:32

Makes me think of clowns if I'm very honest. Sorry.

user1477282676 · 06/12/2016 01:32

Nope...but then I'm from Chester so I would think that. It's oddly American.

Manumission · 06/12/2016 01:32

What else is in your list?

goopie · 06/12/2016 01:44

Norman, Raymond and Victor

I love Victor. I might love Norman too, can't quite decide. It's nice though. They both get points for rarity.

I'm a bit more meh about Raymond. It gives me snooker hall and Benidorm vibes.

HearTheThunderRoar · 06/12/2016 06:05

I really like Chester, nice name imo.

Not keen on Raymond, my DD used to be obsessed with Everybody Loves Raymond and now the name is ruined because all I think is Marie screeching "Raaaaymond" Grin

Don't really like Norman.

Victor I don't mind.

flipsahoy · 06/12/2016 06:10

Chester reminds me of the Cheetos mascot. Now I'm hungry...

CakeRattleandRoll · 06/12/2016 06:15

Norman reminds me of the ultra-annoying child from Fireman Sam.

Chester and Victor I quite like.

Sophronia · 06/12/2016 06:43

Not keen. I like Raymond and Victor though.

scrivette · 06/12/2016 06:45

There is a Chester in DS1's class, I like it.

VivienneWestwoodsKnickers · 06/12/2016 06:57

Chester was the name my black lab as a kid, so it's a no from me. Agree it seems very American.

Norman, Raymond and Victor - also no. I associate them all with men in their 60's.

Gruffalosfriend · 06/12/2016 07:34

I prefer Victor!

MrsDustyBusty · 06/12/2016 07:39

Why would you name a kid something that rhymes with child molester? That's just asking for teasing.

SorenaJ · 06/12/2016 07:46

I like Norman

Oly5 · 06/12/2016 07:47

Hate Norman and Chester. Victor is better

Joinourclub · 06/12/2016 07:50

Victor is the best of a bad bunch. Very hard to take you seriously when you are suggesting Norman.

Monkeyface26 · 06/12/2016 07:53

Have always wanted a Dalmatian called Chester. I really, really think it's a dog's name.
I quite like Raymond because Ray is rather sweet for a little one.

RebelandaStunner · 06/12/2016 07:58

Chester is a nice name. I also like Ray, but not Raymond or the other names.

BadgerIsGrumpy · 06/12/2016 08:00

Not keen. I like Raymond (fav uncle), and Victor though.

user1477282676 · 06/12/2016 08:10

I like Ray. Not Raymond though. I just think "Raymondo"!

TheMortificadosDragon · 06/12/2016 08:29

Chester is a nice name - for a town. It means 'military camp'.

I'm afraid the other names are all old bloke names but not yet old enough to be recycled.

Grindelwaldswand · 06/12/2016 08:30

Chester is more of a Dog's name than a baby name i know a few Labrador's called Chester but no humans

Grindelwaldswand · 06/12/2016 08:31

I like Norman and Colin for boys name's

GreedyDuck · 06/12/2016 09:20

I know a Chester who's about six. He is the most adorable little boy I've ever met, so I have good associations. Hasn't Davina Macall got a Chester as well?

I really like Ray, but not Raymond. Norman - meh, Victor is pretty cool.
