I thought it was Sam-yall? (Yall rhymes with ball) of course accents are different, so basically is it 1 or 2 syllables?

Sam - U- ull

PrincessMoana · 01/12/2016 02:25

So three for me.

helppleaseonnames · 01/12/2016 02:28

I meant 2 or 3, not 1 or 2!

Sam-u-ull here too.

MinnowAndTheBear · 01/12/2016 02:31

Sam-you-ul

lizzieoak · 01/12/2016 02:58

I've never heard Sam-yall. It's 3 syllables, Sam-you-ul.

helppleaseonnames · 01/12/2016 02:59

I remember a boy in my class at school, our teachers always said Sam-yall, that's where I got it from!

Pluto30 · 01/12/2016 03:45

Sam-yule.

DS1's name. Smile

EsmeCordelia · 01/12/2016 04:48

I wold say Sam-u-well. My French friend says Sam Well (her sons name)

dylsmimi · 01/12/2016 04:54

Sam -yull

But I would imagine its most likely to be shortened to just sam

lizzieoak · 01/12/2016 05:58

You people are shocking me.

blueskyinmarch · 01/12/2016 06:05

Probably depends on your accent. I am Scottish and would say Sam-Yule.

Pluto30 · 01/12/2016 06:05

dysl Yep, my Sam has really never been called Samuel. He's always been just Sam.

twentiethcenturybitch · 01/12/2016 06:24

Another Sam-yull here. It's definitely accent specific. I can hear what you all mean about Sam- you-ell in other accents.

Another 2 syllable "Sam-yool" here

PutDownThatLaptop · 01/12/2016 06:58

Depends entirely on accent. My son's name, and here we would say Sam-yoo-al.

AButterfly · 01/12/2016 07:03

Sam-yull two syllables with yull rhyming with dull.

NoSunNoMoon · 01/12/2016 07:06

3 - Sam yu wull

DollyPlastic · 01/12/2016 07:08

I've never ever heard it with three syllables.

It's Sam Yool. Shock
