Is it wrong to not use chosen name, as they're stillborn?

This is a really sensitive subject, so obviously I don't mind you saying it is/isn't wrong, but just don't be really spiteful Smile

We had a name picked out, from the day we knew he was a boy.

Would it be wrong to now not use this name, just because he was stillborn? It seems like I don't love him doesn't it?

I have been in your situation and also thought I wouldn't use the name we had picked out for her... there are so many complicated emotions (and yes anger about all the dreams you had for them being taken away).

However, I was counselled by someone very wise who persuaded me to use the name... and yes for me it was the right decision as now, 6 years later, I am glad we did.

I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Much love to you. I lost 2 babies and we didn't use either planned name. We haven't named our subsequent babies those names either. It's a very personal decision and there's no right or wrong. 💐
