How would you spell Caden?

I know it isn't liked on here, so no need to say that. I'm just wondering on spelling. Would you assume a child, who told you their name was Caden, spell it as Caden? I really don't know on what the 'correct' spelling is. Is it supposed to be the same as Hayden/Jayden, so Cayden? Help!

I'd assume it was Kayden, but I prefer the Caden spelling.

Caden is much the best spelling if you have your heart set on it.

Well I'd spell it Cayden but clearly that's just wrong! Blush

Caden has its own meaning in welsh. Plus you get away from the Americanised use of K and Y..

There are 3 at my school - Caiden, Caden and Kaiden (We've also got a Jayden, Payton and Haydon - and they are all in the same year!)

I think Caden or Cayden is best as an i makes me want to say it K-eye rather than K-ay

(If this is to write a birthday card or something rather than a name you are considering I think you need to ask as there are just too many variables)

I also prefer it spelt Caden, like Cadence, as another poster said.

I worked with a Kayden. I prefer the spelling Caden, though.
