As you're probably guessed, I'm stuck for middle names!

Eric

My grandad always used to call everything male Eric. It was a running joke with him. He died this year so would love to call a baby boy Eric

William

George babies paternal great grandfather.

I have two boys already and the oldest has his father's name as his middle name and the youngest has his grandfather's

Puremince · 19/08/2016 20:47

William. DH likes William as a first name, but I'm worried about it being shortened to "Willie" So William as a middle name.

Eminybob · 19/08/2016 20:49

I think we have decided on Robert for middle name if DC2 is a boy, after DH's brother.

Something brave, cool and whimsical.
Ace, Bear, Fox, Kit, Phoenix, River, Indigo, Orion, Oberon.

Patrick after my beloved Late mum Patricia

WhatTheDickensian · 19/08/2016 21:05

I think middle names should have personal meaning, either a family name of important place name or something. Otherwise what's the point? Nobody actually uses middle names.

LoraLoves · 19/08/2016 21:06

King or Usain (one will hopefully be used soon!)

Shadow1986 · 19/08/2016 21:06

We used James - both sides of families have it somewhere and it's just one of those names that sounds nice with pretty much everything in my opinion

Costacoffeeplease · 19/08/2016 21:19

Kiernan - family name

MrsGsnow18 · 19/08/2016 21:26

I prob wouldn't bother with middle names. I always hated mine growing hi and was too embarrassed to tell it to anyone, I hate seeing it on official documents.
DH doesn't have one and he always says he's glad he wasn't lumbered with one. They serve no real purpose.

PaperdollCartoon · 19/08/2016 21:41

I have two middle names, both of my grandmothers names. It's all rather long to fit on a form but I like having them. DP has no middle names and I think it's sad!

Caldini22 · 19/08/2016 21:44

James

Lovelise · 19/08/2016 21:46

Donald

footballwidow12 · 19/08/2016 21:46

Henry (after Thierry Henry - DHs suggestion obvs) or Morgan (DH middle name) Smile

duskonthelawn · 19/08/2016 21:46

Michael

Yoghurty · 19/08/2016 21:48

James or Rory

Ashhead24 · 19/08/2016 21:51

None at all. They don't really have a purpose, no one really uses them, and most people hate theirs.

Daytona79 · 19/08/2016 21:52

Had a boy 2 weeks ago his middle name is Charles
