There's a great thread at the moment about girl's names but I'm having a boy...

Wreford

This makes me laugh every single time I see it on here. Grin What's the story behind it?

PaperdollCartoon · 17/08/2016 13:38

Another for Jago, I love it.

Also love Rex (this will probably be our first DS if we have one) Arlo, Casper, Cosmo, also love Torquil but I'm not Scottish so don't think we could pull it off.

YourNewspaperIsShit · 18/08/2016 01:45

DP was desperate for Hector but I vetoed because it's actually becoming really popular Blush DS is Fox I suppose that's not common Smile

OttoTheOnly · 18/08/2016 03:02

I love Ludo, but one of the cats got assigned that name.

Phineas

AngharadTheSplendid · 23/08/2016 16:26

Bodhi, don't think I'd be brave enough to use it though!

Thurlow · 23/08/2016 16:33

Saul. Which DC2 would have been called if I didn't have a sodding "issue" pronouncing S's.

I'm still annoyed we can't use it.

Cellardoor23 · 23/08/2016 17:57

I liked the name Jonah but DP vetoed. Other names I considered were:

Eli / Elijah
Christian
Sebastian
Francis (DS middle name now as it's a family name)

I see the name Jasper a lot on here but that was my cats name so could never have used it.

Cellardoor23 · 23/08/2016 18:06

My friend has recently had a baby called Macher nn Mac. I love that.

NorseFrench · 23/08/2016 22:12

5madthings · 24/08/2016 22:45

Some nice names on here, not all unusual some of my boys names have been mentioned.

My youngest baby boy is emmett frank caractacus. So fairly unusual.

Cassius, casey, Fox were also on my list and we liked hector but it has risen hugely in the last two years on ons statistics.

QueenLizIII · 25/08/2016 00:02

Diggory

Cellardoor23 · 25/08/2016 00:36

kristine I liked Alistair too but DP wouldn't let me use it Sad It's quite popular up here in Scotland for older people but not in the top 100 now I've noticed.

OrsonWellsHat · 25/08/2016 00:39

Angel but didn't dare in the end. My teenage boys say they are glad I didn't.

TwoLittleBlooms · 25/08/2016 01:10

I don't if these are that unusual but I really like Ezra (if dd2 had been boy that would have been her name), Atticus and Torbin (saw this name on here and quite like it).
