All the baby name sites seem to say Greek - of course who knows what their sources are. The only Cassias I've come across have been very upper middle class.

I pronounce it CA-sha, as it's the feminine of Cassius, which is traditionally pronounced CASH-us.

Plus the only Cassia I know pronounces it this way.

Blossom always makes me think of this little Blossom we were behind while crazy golfing once... She was really naughty and her parents going 'Blossom, Blossom darling, Blossom don't do that please' in really soft ineffective voices was hilarious Also it reminds me of the word 'bosom'.
