Cassia.

Shortened to Cassie probably.

Or can you suggest anything else?
Englishy/fairly traditional but not popular or boring.

Prefer flower names.

Thank you!

Really pretty.

WellErrr · 24/05/2016 11:34

DH will accept Cassie, but says that Cassia is too like Shania type names.

Or Casio watches.

But I just LOVE it.

Bluebell.
Lavender
Freesia
Pansy
Tulip
Heather
Dandelion

Vixxfacee · 24/05/2016 11:39

No it's been on my list for a while!

I don't think it will be an evie type name. It isn't similar to Shania in my opinion.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 24/05/2016 11:40

You say Cassia and I automatically say bark. It's Chinese Cinnamon.

How about something like Cassandra and shorten it for her pet family name or nickname?

Vixxfacee · 24/05/2016 11:41

Camellia

WellErrr · 24/05/2016 11:45

Agree vixx! When are you due?

lighthouse DANDELION?

Get out.

Well I suppose at one time people would have thought. You can't use Rose as a name. That's a flower. Any name goes now. Grin

nectarini1983 · 24/05/2016 11:58

Really like Cassia: not Cass, Cassie or Cassandra though.

I like Cassius for a boy too (obviously not as a sibset though!)

hamabeads · 24/05/2016 11:59

Prefer Cassandra.

ABitAsleep · 24/05/2016 11:59

I prefer Cassidy rather than Cassia, still shortened to Cassie though.

Oooh Vocational can you say what it is?

I do love Cassia. I'm 95%.

minipie · 24/05/2016 15:41

Shock who does that Vocational?

I have friends whose DC names are a bit Hmm but I wouldn't dream of saying so.

what is the name?

julfin · 24/05/2016 22:39

I'd never heard of it until earlier this evening on another thread (was that you?) but I like it. Cassie is nice too.

Sophronia · 25/05/2016 05:33

How about Kezia / Keziah? It means cassia or cinnamon.

CoYoAddict · 25/05/2016 05:38

It is quite pretty but yes, it's Chinese cinnamon which is allegedly quite toxic.

Not that most people will know or care about that.

BigGreenOlives · 25/05/2016 05:43

I think of it as a fairly classical name. It's Greek in origin.
