DD1 is due in three weeks, we've narrowed it down to the last three names... The problem is we can't pick! So I need to canvas some opinions... Which do you like best?

Erica
Molly
Olivia

Middle names will be Rose Alison and surname has three syllables...

Please wise mners help me!!!

Erica, love it

neady · 09/05/2016 19:05

Molly, love it

ElspethFlashman · 09/05/2016 19:05

Molly, as I think it flows better with a surname with 3 syllables.

SweetieDrops · 09/05/2016 19:06

I think Olivia goes best with the middle names, Olivia-Rose would be lovely if you wanted to do it that way.

PalePolkaDot · 09/05/2016 19:08

Molly Rose Alison

Olivia is ubiquitous here, so loses something for me although it's a v pretty name.

Erica Rose is a bit 'r' heavy somehow

Olivia for me Smile

Molly

Olivia, it's lovely, especially with your middle names

mrsschu · 09/05/2016 19:55

I really dislike Erica, it sounds so ugly to me. Molly is ok but not really my taste. I like Olivia best of the three. Yes it's popular but it's a classic name - Olivia could be 5 or 35.

Sophronia · 09/05/2016 20:20

Erica. second choice would be Molly

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 09/05/2016 20:23

I really don't like Erica but like the other 2

MizK · 09/05/2016 20:24

Olivia

YolandiFuckinVisser · 09/05/2016 20:24

Molly

I would have trouble deciding between Molly and Olivia. Erica is a tad masculine and heavy imo.

I have recently had Molly on my girls list too but stuck it out due to it being too cutesy and my inability to see it on an adult. I don't know any adult Molly's so maybe that's why. Olivia is fine. It sounds light and pretty and as mrsschu says Olivia could be 5 or 35.

manicinsomniac · 09/05/2016 20:32

Erica - I think it's really pretty and very unusual in the UK

I like Olivia and Molly too though.

NoCapes · 09/05/2016 20:34

Oh I love Erica, but was vetoed by DP bastard
But I think that's a lot of syllables in 1 name, even more with Olivia
So on that basis of go with Molly

Ludwaysl · 09/05/2016 20:39

Erica
Molly
Olivia

Ankleswingers · 09/05/2016 20:40

I love Molly. It's gorgeous Grin

NadiaWadia · 09/05/2016 20:59

1.Olivia is my favourite, and definitely your classiest choice. But I understand it's very popular (actually it has been for years, DD (22) has friends named this and before she was born I was nanny to two different little Olivias). I don't think it's flavour of the month right now though, like say Ava or Isla.

  1. I do like Molly but it could be seen as a little bit cutesy.
  1. Erica. It's OK, though.
jellycat1 · 09/05/2016 21:09

Big thumbs up for Molly.

Barefootcontessa84 · 09/05/2016 22:01

Erica! The other two seem much more popular.

jollygoose · 09/05/2016 22:05

Olivia rather classical although a bit too popular a few years ago, Molly i s cute but could be a good name for a labrador. I think Erica is a bit hard sounding, it is the latin name for Heather.

CremeEggThief · 09/05/2016 22:06

Olivia.
