Love it - named DD (age 4) it, it's her full name, two my best friends are also called Maggie (one as her full name, the other short for Margaret), they're both Scottish

They will be far too young for any Thatcher or Simpsons digs from peers. I love the name!

I don't like it, sorry.

I like it. I think a Maggie could have a sister called Rosie as the names make me think of the same sort of person. I really like Meg too and Margaret would give her the choice of both when she's older.

I find Maggie quite harsh sounding. It also doesn't travel well, sounds like Maggi in German (a well known food), but that may not bother you.

I do like Margaret but prefer Margherita!

Love it. Don't like Margaret though.

My name doesn't have 'options' and I'm none the worse for it!

Very cool and lovely and all Maggies are extremely attractive.

Love it! But it ended up as a second name due to overwhelming hatred from Dh!

Hate it. I'm sorry.

Looks like Maggi is also sold in the UK...: www.maggi.co.uk/

Er, I'm pretty sure the name is well established enough in the UK not to be confused with a German food brand!

I don't know Maggi the food. I do know the very old name Maggie though Hmm

Love it. Love all of them, Margot, Maretta, Marguerite. Thatcher didn't occur to me! And it means "Pearl"!!
