Not really dead set on these names but I really like them for now, it's for a boy, I'm currently leaning towards Paris but it changes by the day, opinions are also welcome.

Okay, I think Paris has been pushed off the list, I really like Romeo, I think it's a rather lovely name, Roman is also a contender but DH says it reminds him of the Chelsea owner, who he seems to really dislike Hmm

Happy New Year Everyone

Theres Rowan and Ronan.

IoraRua · 01/01/2016 03:07

Romeo - the Beckhams or the Shakespeare character. No. Just no.

Roman - Polanski, the people or a nose to me. Isn't Polanski a sex offender? I'd avoid as it's very fresh in peoples minds. However it is marginally better than Romeo...

HortonWho · 01/01/2016 09:16

You wouldn't name a baby Roman because of an 80 something year old man? How is it fresh, he's been a known sex offender for 30 years and still managed to make lots of award-winning movies in Hollywood. Now maybe if she wanted to call him Mel, you'd have a point Grin

Vixxfacee · 01/01/2016 09:21

Roman or Rome?

IoraRua · 01/01/2016 15:05

Considering Polanskis been in the news over the last few months over an extradition, yeah it's pretty fresh.

What about Ronan or Rohan, op?

PrimalLass · 01/01/2016 15:54

Neither

aoife24 · 02/01/2016 04:54

Isn't this just another wind up, pushes all the more prim mumsnetter buttons?

MissAlabamaWhitman · 02/01/2016 14:31

Mercutio?

Crazybaglady · 02/01/2016 17:42

How about Roman if you're not dead set on romeo for trasing reasons?

carabos · 02/01/2016 20:31

Like Paris, cooler than Romeo. DS1 was at school with Adonis - very very cool and XH worked with Mars (he was American).

ConesOfDunshire · 02/01/2016 20:56

No, bloody awful! And will date horribly.

Oh, absolutely. Either will instantly date your DS as a child of the early 1590s.

SanityClause U do realise Hilton is her family surname the Grampa owns the Hilton hotels names after himself, the parents didn't choose to call her Paris Hilton that is her surname Grin

ParisDavies8 · 05/12/2018 21:52

What did you chose, just wondering?

MummyBearRose · 05/12/2018 21:56

Romeo is so cute👶🏽

lebkuchenlover · 06/12/2018 12:30

Of the two options, I much prefer Romeo.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 06/12/2018 15:07

Romeo, I like it :)

RuthW · 06/12/2018 17:01
