The classic names again

We have a Jack and a Kate. We don't know what it is but have a boys name I think (although happy to hear any ideas) but are struggling with a girls name and are toying with the following for a girl:

Elisabeth - I don't really like any of the nn's so am afraid I would struggle to keep it at the full name
Mary - I kind of like this, its so plain its interesting (or maybe its just plain) but our last name starts with M, not sure that is a problem
Annie - This was our top last time but suddenly fell in love with Kate. I was never 100% on it.
Maggie - a strong contender
Daisy & Lucy - Nice but a bit weak and sweet for me

Any thoughts? Or ideas? I also like Rebecca and Laura but DH doesn't.

I like Mary and Rebecca - both lovely classic solid names.

Don't like Maggie at all, nor the full name Margaret, sorry. Reminds me of maggot.

Elisabeth seems a bit long next to Jack and Kate, especially if you aren't going to shorten it. The others are all nice, I think I like Annie the best with the other names.

Maggie is my favourite of the ones you have mentioned. I always loved Margot but couldn't get it past DH

I like Maggie. I like Anna but not keen on Annie, or Mary.

Elisabeth - shame you don't like short forms, as Eliza would go brilliantly with your other names
Mary - lovely
Annie - great nn, but think it looks a little flimsy on its own (IYSWIM) do you like any longer forms?
Maggie - again, still rather more a nn than stand alone
Daisy and Lucy, both lovely, think Lucy flows better with the other two names (and you will be writing and yelling them all together lots of times)

Others: Emily, Sarah, Rosa, Harriet/Hattie, Linda, Saskia?

AuntieStella, I had agreement from DH last time to use Annika as the full name, nn Annie. Lizzy I could just about put up with for ease of use with Elisabeth. Hate Margaret, cant think of anything that would become Maggie.

Love Mary, it's hardly used anymore. So simple, classic but not in top 100.

I rather like Antonia.

Dislike Maggie on its own. Elisabeth is fine but a bit dull. Plus if you don't like nicknames stay away - she might choose to be Betty. Annika is gorgeous, not a fan of just Annie. Mary is great. Daisy definitely weak and cutesy, Lucy is nice though.
Jane, Lucille, Lucinda, Lorna, Fiona, Regina, Vera?

Elizabeth is lovely elegant and classy but if you don't like any of the many potential nn derived from Elizabeth, best to avoid it.
Annie is okay a nice enough nsme just not to my tastrtaste, that's all
I can't fault Mary. It goes beautiful with your other dcs names but they all have 4 letters. Some families find that important.
Pity you can't get your DH on side with Laura. Very underused now.

Maggie is okay but I wouldn't put it t with the names Kate and Jack.
Don't like Lucy or Daisy but they both go with the names Kate and Jack

Elisabeth - not great if you don't like the nicknames
Mary - like, and it's underused
Annie - like, as nickname for Anna, Annabel, Anneliese, Angela etc.
Maggie - too trendy
Daisy & Lucy - I like these, but if they're not your taste then don't use them

Elisabeth - not keen. Full name is okay but, like you, I'm not that keen on any of the shorts.
Mary - quite like it
Annie - not keen but do really like Annika, Annabelle etc
Maggie - really strongly dislike this. I think it sounds so ugly
Daisy - it's ok.
Lucy - quite like it
Rebecca - this is my name and I love it but don't really like being called Becky which I get a lot.
Laura - quite like it

I think maybe you want something quite short and simple to go with Jack and Kate?

Rebecca is beautiful but (IMO) Becky is vile! Maggie is lovely, I like Margot too.

Mary is beautiful. We would have used it for DD but it REALLY didn't go with our surname. Personally I quite like alliteration in names, so it wouldn't bother me if the surname started with M.

Really like Annika too. And Anita.

Mary or Annie. Annika (nn Annie) is great. Or names that end with an 'ann' could be used - so Marianne - to use Annie as nn.

Annie gets my vote. Annika is ok but it's not quite as 'English' sounding as Jack and Kate, do I thing it changes the whole vibe.

I do really like Elizabeth and Mary.

I would go for another one-syllable name, max 2, with a similarly 'English' sound (to echo a PP). Anne? Jane (pleasingly retro and due a revival IMO)? Cla(i)re (ditto)? Sally? Lily? Eve (bit popular though)? If you like Maggie, how about Meg? Mary is lovely.
