Heard today:-

Spring-rose

At the doctors the other day was deliah-rose. Thought it was a misspell for Delilah but then maybe it's Delia?

And the when I worked in a nursery there was a little boy called deneil. Not too bad you say, till you knew his older brother was called Neil Hmm

A friend of a friend was a lady called winter. Winter Christmas.

I saw an advert for a plumber (I think) for mr Paul Paul. Not sure if that's his name or a misprint, so does it still count?

Just remembered we had a girl at school once called Rehab (pr. Ray-hab). She also had an awesome last name! She was really great fun and her name suited her perfectly. I've never heard it before or since though.

What's wrong with Mitzi ? There was a film starlet in the 50s/60s called Mitzi Gaynor.
And surely Zelda is after F.Scott Fitzgerald's wife? (esp as it was in Waitrose) Grin

Winsome. Friendly sort of name, I think. She was an Afro-Caribbean lady. Ildiko. Never come across it before or since. She would be quite elderly now.

Forgot - Arras - lovely old lady ( long gone) who was named after the battle of arras that her father was lucky to come out of alive.

Not a " lovely" name in sound but just so lovely I what it meant to the family.

I heard Anubis being called for in the play ground.
I was also friends with a couple who Calle father son Buzz, I really like the name Buzz.
