Margot or Marlowe as baby sister for Archer?

Which baby girl name to you prefer; the more traditional Margot - or the more alternative Marlowe? We're still looking for the right baby girl name, to go with our son's name which is Archer (nn Archie sometimes).

Marlowe is usually a boys name (or at least that's the only way I've come across it in RL).

So I'd go for Margot.

I prefer Margot but I think Marlowe goes better with Archer. You could alternatively spell it Marlo.

If you give children surnames as first names nobody will ever know what gender they are when seeing the names written down.

I like strong names for girls. Plus I can't forget how mason Berger said "mar got" in Hannibal.

Margot is lovely.

I don't think of Marlow as alternative. More the trend for giving boys names to girls. Like celebs with Maxwell and Harlow.

Margot is too old lady. If your DS was Archie short for Archibald, then I'd suggest carrying on the theme for older names, but as you've gone with the much cooler Archer then Marlowe is a great choice.

Archer and Marlowe, really nice.

This reminds me of sitting in a park in fulham and PRESTON being called every 30 seconds. Preston was a little shit.
Marlowe to me would be either a surname or boys name.
Actually come to think of it wasnt there a film about a dog called Marlowe?
