what are some unusual names that you love? That you may not ever be brave enough to actually use but "secretly" love?

Mine is Brigitta..I have loved it since I first saw The Sound of Music when I was 7! Not sure I could ever use it but I on the down-low really like it. I also like Vera and considered using it but did not get one positive feedback about it..boo!

Ptomely.

Not keen on the spelling but love the sound of it. Would never use it though.

sticklebrickstickle · 24/07/2015 08:46

Oops, meant to write Ptolemy!

(Another reason not to use it apparently being my tendency to spell it wrong!)

Love this thread. I'd love to use Anoukh for a girl and Valentine for a boy, but wouldn't dare.

I know a Darwin - nicest guy in the world (very attractive too). he has a son called, I think, Stetson!

I knew a very cool little boy called Zeno a while back - loved it.

I love Cosmo for a boy and Loveday for a girl....I'm expecting twins and although these have both been vitto'd by dh. My master plan is that dh will by so over whelmed when he sees no1 that he will agree to anything when no2 makes an appearance!

Topsy34 · 30/07/2015 09:26

I love Persephone, but Ds says not way, Mummy, it sounds like a telephone.

Suppose not that unusual in terms of well known name but I love the name Cassandra and never met one.

MsJuniper · 23/08/2015 15:48
