It's a bit strippery/drag-queeny, like Destiny, no?

Vision of toddler throwing a wobbly, screaming and running across the park - Mother following shouting Se-renity!, Se-renity!. Doesn't quite work does it.

mrsspooky · 30/05/2015 22:37

I think its pretty. And you could always shorten it to Sera if you needed to shout in public!?

mrstweefromtweesville · 30/05/2015 22:39

I like it. Serenity is a good name. Inspector Morse was called Endeavour. I've known girls called Prudence. And Grace, of course.

Serenity is a lovely thing to wish for your child, and a lovely name.

SoupDragon · 30/05/2015 23:18

Inspector Morse was a fictional character. Do you think Gandalf is a good name for a child too?

maroonedwithfour · 30/05/2015 23:20

Seren is far nicer

Yes, I like it. I considered it when I was pregnant but I had a boy.

MitzyLeFrouf · 20/06/2015 15:01

Anyone called Serenity will turn out to be a whirling dervish just as anyone called Chastity will most likely have a 'healthy social life'.

Heels99 · 20/06/2015 16:48

No, it has a chav ring to it like Chardonnay.

Rhubarbgarden · 20/06/2015 21:11

It's a no from me. Too long and frilly.
