Nope.

Grin
VixxFace · 16/05/2015 21:36

No it's drippy.

WhatWouldFlopDo · 16/05/2015 21:37

I like it

SweetAndFullOfGrace · 16/05/2015 21:37

Elizabeth yes, Beth no.

Beth sounds ineffectual.

fiveacres · 16/05/2015 21:37

It is okay :)

Beth from little women ...

BagsyThisName · 16/05/2015 21:37

Not where I live as i would be called Beff

But in other parts of the country would be lovely. And I would have it as Beth on the BC not Elizabeth, to avoid being Lizzie.

6LittleOnes · 16/05/2015 21:38

I like Beth Smile

museumum · 16/05/2015 21:38

Yes. But am in Scotland where there is no use of f for th.

MrsAukerman · 16/05/2015 21:39

Yes

TinCanSally · 16/05/2015 21:40

I like Beth too - would far rather it was my name than my actual moniker! Grin

Spydra · 16/05/2015 21:41

Elizabeth yes!

YonicScrewdriver · 16/05/2015 21:41

Yes, love it

VirginiaTonic · 16/05/2015 21:45

Bethany is very common round here!

FatWalda · 16/05/2015 21:49

No, it's horrible. It sounds lispy and it rhymes with death.

TheCowThatLaughs · 16/05/2015 21:52

No I'd hate it

Bicnod · 16/05/2015 21:53

My four month old DD is Elizabeth but known as Beth. I love it Smile

Allalonenow · 16/05/2015 21:59

No, though Elizabeth is very nice.

I don't think Beth is as pretty as the full name Elizabeth, and not keen on Betty either.

Wigeon · 16/05/2015 22:04

The adult Beth I know is far from drippy and ineffectual - the opposite in fact. So I think of it as a nice strong name!

Sophronia · 16/05/2015 22:13

I think it's nice Smile

Trills · 16/05/2015 22:15

No.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/05/2015 22:15

Yes. I'd love to be called Beth.

peachypips · 16/05/2015 22:17

No, too boring.

Passmethecrisps · 16/05/2015 22:19

My mum is beth so I am fond of it. I have known omelette of Beths as well.

I see it as being a pretty tough name as in not drippy

SanityClause · 16/05/2015 22:24

My sister is often known as Beth. Her middle name is Elizabeth.

I also like Bethan, which is Welsh, and pronounced, I understand like Beth-Anne, rather than Beth'n.

gatlinout · 16/05/2015 22:25

Is Bethan nicer than Beth? What do people think?
