Margot Elizabeth
Cecily Bea (to be known as Cece)
Romilly (NN Romy) don't have a middle name for this one yet so suggestions please!

All votes appreciated!

DH loves Cece but not massively keen on Cecily so kind of only wants to go with it if we really do always call her Cece. I'm just completely torn. I change my mind every five minutes!

Romilly, in my opinion, is the best. Really not keen on the other two. Good luck OP.

Artandco · 31/12/2014 10:37

You could have :

'Margot Elizabeth Romily' -surname

If you wanted to include both names.

myotherusernameisbetter · 31/12/2014 10:42

Romilly Jean
Romilly Joan
Romilly Anne
Romilly Jo
Romilly Cate
Romilly Bea
Romilly Alice
Romilly Beth
Romilly Claire

Sophronia · 31/12/2014 10:47

Margot Elizabeth. I'm not keen on Romilly.

telsa · 01/01/2015 20:36

Romilly Faye
Romilly Circe
Romilly Aura

WowserBowser · 01/01/2015 20:39

I love Cecily Bea!

APotNoodleandaTommy · 02/01/2015 06:39

Romiley is an unpleasant part of Stockport

whatsagoodusername · 02/01/2015 06:55

I love Cecily, but don't like CeCe - especially not CeCe Bea. Just sounds like a lot of letters to me.

I would go with Margot Elizabeth. Or Cecily with a different middle name.

Pot Noodle she could call her Bredbury instead? :o

TheTravellingLemon · 02/01/2015 08:03

I love Cecily but don't like either of the other two.

SoupDragon · 02/01/2015 08:09

I really dislike Margot but that may be because I am of the Good Life generation so equate it to a middle aged, ineffectual snob.

CrispyFern · 02/01/2015 08:26

I like Margot and Romy.

APotNoodleandaTommy · 02/01/2015 09:48

Or Bramhall, to be clarrrrrsey, Panzee Grin

skildpadden · 02/01/2015 10:15

Cece / Cecily is in one way lovely but a bit risky imo.

I like Beatrice though Beatrice/Bea

Margot is lovely and Romilly is lovely too. Magaly is like a cross between Margot and Romilly/Cecily. Oh, sorry! shouldn't suggest a new name at this late stage.

Deerhound · 02/01/2015 17:26

I think Romilly Margot is pretty good tbh.
Also
Romilly Jean
Romilly Joan
Romilly Cecile
Romilly Joy
Romilly Hope

BabyX · 03/01/2015 13:18

I just imagine a child called Cecily introducing herself as Thethily and having ringlets in her hair. She might even scweam and scweam until she's thick.

TheyLearnedFromBrian · 03/01/2015 19:15

A word of warning - don't go for Romilly unless you are ok with her ending up as Milly. I know two Romillys and both are Milly/Millie - one by her own choice once she got to secondary school, her mother hates it!

Not that Milly isn't a nice name, but it's pretty overpopular and I know not everyone is keen on it.

PattyPenguin · 03/01/2015 21:54

No-one round here would use the name Romilly, as it's the name of a local pub. And park. And nursing home. And several streets.

Its use here is linked to the French Huguenot family with the surname Romilly.

Provided you're not in South East Wales, Romilly is probably safe enough, though I would echo the warning about it getting shortened to Milly.

Junglen · 03/01/2015 23:18

There is a Romilly Street in the West End. That's not a bad thing thoughh.

But I'd pick Rosemary and use Romy as that's lovely. Probably fewer Rosemarys than Romillys as well.

realHBh · 05/01/2015 22:49

My youngest is called Sienna but my ex-husband calls her Sisi sometimes... hate it ! Is Margot with the T or a silent T? love it pronounced Margo. Cecily is gorgeous ! Romilly Rose. Good Luck x

Hassled · 05/01/2015 22:50

I'm not a Romilly fan. Sounds made-up (it probably isn't).

Margot and Cecily are both lovely. Would your DH go for Cecilia?

Ludways · 05/01/2015 22:58

I know a CeCe, no one calls her Cecily even though that's what's on her BC. She is introduced as CeCe and everyone just accepts it. I like it more than the other two names.

Postchildrenpregranny · 05/01/2015 23:36

Whatever you do make sure you call her by her first 'registered' name .My husband has three and has always been known by the middle one .It causes no end of confusion. And you have to be very very careful when booking flights .
Personally I hate names being abbreviated (though my Catherine is very occasionally called Kate but only by me and her dad as an endearment ,and I have never let anyone called her Cathy and neither has she)What is the point ? .So if you are going to call her CeCe then name her that .She'll be forever spelling it for people though

TaytoCrisp · 05/01/2015 23:40

Cece is lovely.
I also like family Beth as suggested above.
