Most beautiful, unique girl's name you know?

Please help! Still on the hunt for a girls name and I love ones that are incredibly unique (perhaps only heard once or twice).

Would love your best suggestions! Needs to be incredibly feminine as the surname is very traditional English, long, clunky.

Names ending in 'A' sounds work well. Names with 'ella' sounds don't (So Aurelia, while I love it, won't work and is becoming too popular).

Names like Arietta, Aya, Elka, Allegra? I'm just not sure we love them enough. What is the most beautiful, unique girls name you have heard?

Middle name not settled, but will probably be something more well known (Juliette, Francesca, Cara, Amelie). Thanks for your help!

Seraphina is so beautiful and I'd never heard it until a Hollywood actress (can't remember name!) called her daughter it.
Cecilia or Cecily is pretty!
Genevieve is also super feminine and pretty. so is Alexandra, though not so unusual.
Also, Lavinia, Luciana, Pandora, Adrianna, Vivienne, Cordelia, Octavia, Ophelia.

LeoandBoosmum · 22/12/2014 00:26

Maria is also beautiful and feminine.

Jellypudmum · 22/12/2014 00:33

Naveah; heaven spelled backwards.

Jellypudmum · 22/12/2014 00:34

Obviously I can't spell; Navaeh!!!

WhatsGoingOnEh · 22/12/2014 00:37

I love Seraphina.

Really, when people really want unique names, I don't know why they just don't make them up.

Like, Tatalina, Jacostana, Borandes, Desindra... Just invent them...

AlfAlf · 22/12/2014 00:43

Amira

BitOutOfPractice · 22/12/2014 00:53

Op you know what. YOU have to love the name. That's all that matters.

Don't get hung up on what is cool and unique and what you believe the name will say about you or your social status.

Just choose what you want

BitOutOfPractice · 22/12/2014 00:58

My DSD'sname is seraphina. It does not suit her. It's a an imposed name that was intended to make dp and his ex look cool.

Not to say I don't like the name I do. And I love my dsd but it feels sent suit her

Lezprechaun · 22/12/2014 01:19

Lyra is the name I wanted for DD3 but OH didn't like. I think it's lovely.

Lezprechaun · 22/12/2014 01:20

Oh and Lillith was another favourite.

burgatroyd · 22/12/2014 06:19

OK Lilith means night monster. That would seem ironic in early years Xmas Grin

Eastpoint · 22/12/2014 06:29

Lilith is Frasier's wife/ex-wife in the tv series. The meaning of name is appropriate, she's scary.

Kelko · 24/12/2014 11:16

Calypso is lovely, but you'd have to be really brave to use it.

Io might be a good choice if you have a long surname.

Or:

Amayah and Sufiya are good Arabic choices. There are lots of lovely names mentioned through the other threads too. :)

Molotov · 24/12/2014 13:53

Zuleika amd Safiyyah (both Arabic origin, I think).
