Cool boy names that aren't ridiculous?

I think we're going back to the drawing board on boy names. Please suggest ones that are cool but won't get him made fun of!

I think names beginning with J sound good for boys:

Joel
Jesse
Jay

I wanted to use Jesse but DH reckoned it would be child cruelty Sad

Also agree with previous posts that the child makes the name cool, tho you'd have to be a very cool kid to pull off some of name suggestions above.

Asteria - not sure where Kett is slang for poo, but I've never heard that! The Kett I know is named for Robert Kett of the rebellion.

Ultimate cool name for me is Bodhi but sadly it doesn't work with our surname.

We have a Carter and a Sullivan - first responses to both of those have been "wow, cool names" - but it's totally personal.

I also really like Reef, that's pretty cool.

Yay my son's name makes it onto this thread (though it is a conventional name).

Dean
Jason

Not sure Dean and Jason are any more though.

I always wanted to use Magnus but DH wouldn't have it.
