Like both Thora and Tabitha. Going tangentially from "Silver" though, how about Diana (associated with the moon in Roman mythology)?

Dora goes well with Tilly.

Like Thora and Tabitha.

Prefer Silva and Sylvie (variants of Sylvia) to Silver.

Not so keen on Taffeta, but see this is out if the running now anyway.

moomin I'm glad you said Breeze, I forgot how much I liked it, you should have used it! I had a boss with a DD by that name, I really like the way it sounds, I've put it on our potential MN list. DH probably won't go for it though.

I like thora. What about Tacita?

Tabitha or Thora are nice, but I don't like the other two.

I know a little Silva, think it's also a place in Italy? Feels more ' namey' than silver while still being the same sound iyswim?

Tilly & Tabbby. Yeah, I'd go for Tabitha. Although I agree that Thora is cool...

I like silver but wouldn't use it- night go for sylvia or sylvie though! Taffyta is the name of a character in wreck it Ralph. .. It kind of works as a name but I wouldn't use it. Thora is nice and unusual. I like tabitha from your list - tabby and tilly is cute.

I met a four yr old silver on holiday, her little sister had a top ten name which I found abit odd.
Maybe her parents realised silver wasnt a proper name and tried to redeem themselves?

Silvestra?

I actually know sisters called Tilly & Tabitha, they are 15 & 17 now. Their Tilly is short for Matilda. I know other Tillys, one has a Madeleine (known as Maddy) & Rebecca (known as Beccy) as her sisters.

I love Thora, it was on my list but DH nixed it along with almost everything else

Silver is a cool name I love it! No one over 50 would be able to relate to that choice though.

I see you've ruled out Taffetta. I think that's a good move. It's not even a nice fabric.

Thora and Tabitha are lovely. Thora maybe a bit better with Tilly. Tabby and Tilly is a bit similar sounding. And whilst both names are nice on their own, they suddenly sound like a pair of kittens to me.

Silver isn't to my taste, but is ok.

Torah is good.

Tabitha is 'meh' but normalish, so no raised eyebrows there.

The other two are awful.

Oops, Thora, not Torah! Autocorrect gone religious...
