I'd also pronounce Mai as My if I saw it written down.

All dreadful names, sorry. I mean Tilly, wtf?
Have a rethink... And congratulations!

Does Tilly really warrant a WTF!? Love that people think they can come on here and tell you to rethink the baby names you like, self righteous idiots.

Congratulations OP

I love Nancy-really cool. Nancy Jane? I do like Lola Rose but maybe it's just a bit too dolly. Nancy is not overused-Lola is.
Some people on this thread are rude. I've noticed this on MN. Cliquey behaviour and women letting themselves down. I'm going to spell it out-certain posters have perceived the Op to be of a lower social class than they are and therefore they think it is fine to pass negative comment on her username (she didn't ask for feedback on that) or to indirectly suggest she is a chav. Those posters would never have spoken like that to someone they considered their equal. Just reminds me of Queen Bee behaviour at school.
Op you haven't even risen to it-good on you.

I like Nancy. Lola makes me start singing "was a showgirl" in my head :D I would give the full name Matilda, instead of Tilly, as then she has the choice of different nicknames or she can use her full name for official things.

Love all your names actually- were you thinking of having middle names aswell as hyphernating?

My favourite combinations are
Matilda Rose
Nancy Marie
Annie (or Anna) May

I also prefer Lyla to Lola as I can see it on an adult more!
Some hyphenated names work well, I wouldn't choose one because we have a long syllable surname so the second name would just be dropped- pointless!

Mumof3xox · 28/06/2014 08:34

I like Lola

Dd was almost a Lola

SockPinchingMonster · 28/06/2014 18:26

I have a Lola Eve and also know a Lola Grace, they're the only 2 Lola's I know though so wouldn't say it's as popular and overdone as some people are saying.
Tilly is quite pretty I think and Anne sounds fine as a middle name.
Not so keen on Nancy but if you like uncommon names it would be perfect as I don't think I've ever known any Nancys. I think Mai sounds better as a middle name rather than hyphenated.
None of the names are awful despite what some of the rude posters on here may say. Congratulations on your little girl.
