Ds2 is due in a few weeks and dh and I can't think of a single name we both feel is 'the one' - but then I wasn't completely sure about ds1's name until he arrived and made it his own.

So, current thinking is, in no special order:

Peter
Gilbert
Arthur
Clement
Robert
Thomas

Help!

Knew a Jolyon, called him Jol mainly. He was pretty 'well to do' so it suited him IYSWIM. Julian is a good compromise on this one.

I like Arthur but don't like that there are no NN I know of other than Art or Artie which I'm not keen on.

Taught an Albert who was named after his grandad and mainly called Bertie - loved it!!

Have you considered Rupert or is that too beary?!

We call our Arthur Arth and sometimes Arth Vadar. And also Arthur Barthur Boots. And Boots. And my dad calls him Bath Buns.
